Where the prices come from.
Data delayed. Historical prices, not a live bowser price. Newest open file observed on 28 October 2026: Queensland Fuel Prices August 2026.
FuelVerdict uses the Queensland Government's open monthly fuel-price files. A price on this site is a historical record. It is not the price on the bowser now.
Preview only. The verdict is still calibrating. Prices on this site, when shown, are historical and delayed. A live price feed is not connected.
Source and licence
Source: State of Queensland (Queensland Treasury), published on data.qld.gov.au. Licence: Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. That licence allows reuse, including commercial reuse, when the State is credited, the licence is linked, and changes are indicated. It does not allow FuelVerdict to imply government endorsement.
FuelVerdict converts the published Price column from tenths of a cent into cents per litre, omits unavailable prices, and shows TransactionDateutc in Australian Eastern Standard Time (Australia/Brisbane, no daylight saving).
The monthly files
Each file is a changes-only log: one row is a price-change event, not a daily snapshot, and not a live feed. The page shows the time that event was recorded, in Australian Eastern Standard Time, and calls that the as-at time.
On 28 October 2026 the newest file in the 2026 package was Queensland Fuel Prices August 2026. September and October 2026 were not in the package that day. The downloader reads the package list, so a later month appears when the State publishes it. Until a file is published, this site has nothing newer to show.

What this site does not use
FuelVerdict does not scrape station websites, and it does not call the Fuel Prices Queensland live API. That feed is a separate publisher licence. No application has been submitted, and no token is connected.
The verdict stays on CALIBRATING until a back-test on held-out Queensland history reaches 70% or better. A result on made-up prices does not clear that bar. No such Queensland result is recorded yet.
